Did Adam & Eve have bellybuttons?

11 Oct

So I was wondering …

Well?

You’re right – there isn’t an option for ‘undecided.’ You must choose!

Why would they? My opinion: they had smooth tummies, no insert was required.

Eve had a womb though as she did bear children. but neither one of them had a belly button/navel as they were not in the womb of anyone else.

Neither was born, nor did they have placentas or umbilical cords. There is no need for belly buttons. They are not a genetic formation, but more like a scar or other physical abnormality.

I guess it could be “yes” and “no.” Adam probably would not have had a bellybutton, unless an umbilical cord was attached to the dirt for some reason. Eve could have had one since she was attached to Adam at one point, but I wouldn’t bet on it. How’s that for some weird-but-creative reasoning? :)
